Whistleblowing Channel
Last update 25/06/2024
We provide a secure and direct whistleblowing channel that allows you to report any improper conduct, suspected violations of laws, rules or regulations, including reports related to corruption and other irregularities.
Any person regardless of their status (members of the public, employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, self-employed persons, shareholders and members of the administrative, management or supervisory body - the “Whistleblower”) may report information about Breaches, including reasonable suspicions, of actual or potential Breaches, that have occurred or are very likely to occur in his/her business.
The law of 16 May 2023 implements Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law into Luxembourg law.
To benefit from the protective regime provided for by the Law, the Whistleblower must
- have reasonable grounds to believe that the Information is true at the time of reporting and that the Information falls within the scope of application of the Law and
- have complied with the reporting procedures, as described in the Law.
The complaint may be Anonymous or in your name. If you decide to make a complaint in your name, we assure you that your identity will not be revealed to the alleged perpetrator or to third parties. Furthermore, we condemn any type of reprisal against whistleblowers and against any person who participates in the investigation of the reported facts, taking, where appropriate, the necessary measures to guarantee the protection of the whistleblower as indicated by the law of 16 May 2023 on the protection of persons who report breaches. Once we have received the complaint, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt, with a reference, within no more than seven days of receiving it, and we will inform you of the outcome of the proceedings within no more than three months, unless there is a particular complexity that requires an extension of the period, which may be extended to a maximum of three additional months.
The channel is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, guaranteeing the confidentiality of all reports, regardless of how they are made.
In addition to the above, you can also file a report with the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority.
This whistleblowing channel is not the means for sending customer complaints and/or claims. These must be dealt with by the Customer Service Department. Nor is the whistleblowing channel to be used for contacting the Data Protection Officer, as for these cases we have the channels provided for this purpose, as stated on the website.
